The  conclusion of student activities and  Students counseling ceremony of PY under the patronage of the Rector .

The Rector, Prof. Dr. Said bin Omar Al Omar, sponsored the Conclusion of Student Activities and Students Counseling Ceremony  for the current academic year 1435/1436 which held by the Deanship of the Preparatory Year and Supportive Studies on Thursday, 18/07/1436 at eleven o'clock in the presence of the Vice President , faculty deans ,a number of faculty  members , directors of government departments of the region, and a large number of students from the preparatory year.

The ceremony started with a recitation from the holy Quran. The Dean thanked the Rector in his speech for attending and honoring the ceremony and for his continuous support for student activities and students counseling at the deanship, pointing out that the Deanship of the Preparatory Year provided this year 160 student activities in addition to 167 indicative activities at Arar, Rafha and Turaif. The activities where varied between lectures, seminars , workshops, sports , cultural events and awareness campaigns to serve the community and students.

In honoring the role of government departments in the city of Arar for their cooperation with the Deanship in providing services and support to students, the Rector ,the vice deans and the dean of the Preparatory year Honored the Head of Civil Defense  and the Director of the General Administration of Narcotics Control at Northern Border Area. The Dean of the Preparatory Year gave the Deanship's shield to the Rector of the university to honor His Excellency for his continued support for student activities and students counseling at the deanship.

 At the end of the ceremony, the Rector opened the art exhibition accompanying the ceremony, which included Optical painting, caricature, photography, and a large number of images that present sports competitions and events in the Student Activities Unit at the Deanship in all branches of the university, as well as handicrafts made by students of the preparatory year in Arar's female campus.
