​Closing Ceremony of PY Volleyball Championship ​1, the Dean Honors the Winners

The events of the Preparatory Year Volley Championship at the Deanship of Preparatory Year and Supportive Studies were declared closed on Tuesday, 02/03/1436, first semester 1435/36, with the crucial match in the final game between 'Oxford' and 'Al Sadd', the two teams of the students of the Preparatory Year. The match started at half past eleven at noon in the gym at the Faculty of Medicine, and continued for two full games. 'Al Sadd' won the match 2:0, and was declared the champion, while the 'Oxford' team was declared the runner-up.  The game was played in full spirits and high morale among the students. The teams were honored for their participation in the tournament by the Dean of the Preparatory Year and Supportive Studies Dr. Moqbel bin Salem Al-enezy who attended the closing ceremony. He was pleased to honor the participating teams in the championship. His Excellency awarded silver medals to the 'Oxford' team players, and gold medals and the tournament cup to 'Al Sadd' team players. PY team was awarded "the perfect team cup" while Wael shahed Al-enezy (a student from Al Sadd team) lifted the cup for "best player."

It is worth mentioning that this tournament lasted for a full week, from 25/01/1436 to 03/02/1436, at the volleyball court (gym), Faculty of Medicine and twelve teams participated in the tournament.  ​
