Northern Border University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded the Qur’an Memorization and Recitation Competition for university students and members of the community (male and female) as part of the Ramadan Festival activities. The competition was held on 12/09/1447 AH and continued for two days in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere that fostered a spirit of competition in memorizing and mastering the recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

The competition witnessed the participation of 35 male contestants who competed across four levels:

Level One: Memorization of the entire Holy Qur’an.

Level Two: Memorization of fifteen parts.

Level Three: Memorization of ten parts.

Level Four: Memorization of five parts.

In addition, 11 female contestants participated and competed in three levels:

Level One: Memorization of the entire Holy Qur’an.

Level Three: Memorization of ten parts.

Level Four: Memorization of five parts.

The competition was conducted under the supervision of specialized judging committees in memorization and recitation. Participants were evaluated according to precise criteria that considered the accuracy of memorization, rules of recitation, and quality of performance, with notable attendance and engagement from students and community members.

This competition is part of the distinguished programs organized by the University during the blessed month of Ramadan to promote spiritual values and encourage engagement with the Holy Qur’an through memorization, recitation, and reflection, reflecting the University’s educational and community role in serving different segments of society.
