Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Emir of the Northern Border Region  may Allah protect him  Northern Border University celebrated on the evening of Monday, 4/5/2026, at the university’s campus in the city of Arar, the graduation of its nineteenth cohort of students. The occasion was marked by an academic ceremony that embodied the meanings of pride and honor, and crowned years of dedication, diligence, and perseverance.

The ceremony was attended by a number of His Excellencies the directors of government departments in the region, parents and guardians, alongside the university’s academic and administrative leadership. The ceremony commenced with the Royal Anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, after which a video presentation was screened showcasing the university’s achievements and the qualitative development it has attained in the fields of education, research, and innovation.

The University President, Prof. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Rumaih, delivered a speech on this occasion, in which he expressed gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership  may Allah support them  for the generous support and continued attention devoted to the education sector, affirming that this support has had a profound impact in enabling universities to fulfill their mission and achieve the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. He also extended congratulations to the graduating students, commending their determination and resolve, and urging them to continue their pursuit of excellence in their professional lives and in the service of their religion and homeland.

Subsequently, graduating student Abdulrahman bin Omar Al-Ali  from the College of Medicine  delivered the graduates’ address, in which he expressed his pride in the leadership, the homeland, the university, and his fellow graduates.

The ceremony included the graduation procession, the taking of the oath, and the honoring of distinguished students, all amid a festive atmosphere filled with joy and pride. Parents and guardians expressed their immense happiness on this occasion, affirming their pride in the achievements of their sons and daughters, which represent an important milestone in their academic and professional journeys.

It is worth noting that the number of graduates of the nineteenth cohort exceeds five thousand male and female students for this year.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the university renewed its congratulations to all graduates, reaffirming its continued commitment to preparing qualified national personnel capable of competing in the labor market and making an effective contribution to the journey of development and nation-building in this generous homeland, asking Allah to grant them continued success and guidance in their future endeavors.
