Office Supervisor’s Message
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon the noblest of the Prophets and Messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
Saudi Vision 2030 represents the comprehensive strategic framework guiding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s development journey. It reflects a well established approach to economic and social reform, aiming to elevate the nation and enhance its position at both regional and international levels.
In recognition of its role and responsibility in advancing Vision 2030, Northern Border University established this Office to serve as a strategic link between the University and the Vision Realization Office at the Ministry of Education, in all matters related to relevant initiatives and programs.
The Office seeks to motivate all University units to propose high quality initiatives while ensuring alignment between the University’s strategic directions and plans and Vision 2030 and the Ministry of Education’s initiatives. It also aims to build strategic partnerships with entities within and outside the University.
The Office operates with the support and guidance of His Excellency the University President, Professor Ahmed bin Ali Al-Rumaih, and with the contributions of the University’s staff, aspiring to achieve the University’s objectives under Vision 2030 and to strengthen its position among leading universities in the Kingdom.

Motivation and Alignment
Motivate all University units to propose high quality initiatives while ensuring alignment between the University’s strategic directions and plans and Vision 2030 and the Ministry of Education’s initiatives.

Mission
Empowerment and Partnership :To enable University staff to actively contribute to achieving Vision 2030 by supporting initiatives, building partnerships, and measuring performance.
Responsibilities of the Vision Realization and Initiatives Office
1. Implement approved plans and programs.
2. Collaborate with the Strategic Planning Administration in preparing the University’s strategic plan.
3. Conduct periodic reviews of all plans and directions to ensure alignment with Vision 2030 and development objectives.
4. Collect, classify, evaluate, and prioritize initiatives and projects aligned with Vision 2030, and link them to strategic objectives and performance indicators.
5. Address challenges facing initiative developers and implementers and provide the necessary support.
6. Submit periodic reports to the Ministry’s Vision Realization Office on the results of education performance indicators.
7. Maintain continuous coordination and communication with the Vision Realization Office at the Ministry of Education.
8. Clarify the concepts and targets of education performance indicators to the University’s internal community.
9. Conduct training courses and workshops on developing initiatives related to higher education.
10. Encourage University staff to propose initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic directions.
11. Adopt high quality initiatives, obtain Ministry approval, and follow up on their implementation.
12. Participate in committees and working groups related to initiatives.
13. Contribute to identifying and providing requirements for human resources, equipment, and materials.
14. Participate in identifying training needs for Office staff and nominate them for appropriate training programs.
15. Prepare periodic reports on the Office’s activities, achievements, and proposals for performance improvement.
