Responsibilities of the International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange Administration:

  1. Prepare the Administration’s activity plans and follow up on their implementation after approval.
  2. Apply regulations and instructions related to international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
  3. Facilitate communication and knowledge exchange between University staff and international universities.
  4. Complete procedures for concluding agreements, memoranda of understanding, and contracts with international universities and scientific institutions.
  5. Activate the University’s membership in relevant international organizations and associations.
  6. Organize visits for faculty members to leading universities to review their academic and research experiences.
  7. Organize visits of visiting professors from international universities and research centers to benefit from their expertise in academic and research fields.
  8. Represent the University and introduce it in international forums in accordance with the relevant regulations.
  9. Facilitate the benefit of University staff from scientific and research partnerships and agreements concluded with international universities and institutions.
  10. Coordinate visits, meetings, and scientific discussions with delegations from outside the University and follow up on their outcomes and recommendations.
  11. Coordinate with the Ministry of Education to enable the University to benefit from international agreements concluded by the Ministry with its counterparts in other countries.
  12. Participate in identifying the Administration’s needs for human resources, equipment, and materials and follow up on their provision.
  13. Participate in identifying the training needs of the Administration’s staff and nominate them for appropriate training programs.
  14. Prepare periodic reports on the Administration’s activities, achievements, and proposals for performance development.
  15. Perform any other tasks assigned within the scope of its responsibilities.

Responsibilities of the General Supervisor of the International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange Administration:

  1. Develop strategic directions for international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
  2. Prepare an annual executive and operational plan and follow up on its implementation.
  3. Develop the University’s strategic partnership plan.
  4. Identify the priorities of the University’s strategic partnerships and direct them toward areas aligned with the University’s competitive advantages, identity, and distinctive strengths.
  5. Review and evaluate the University’s existing strategic partnerships, enhance their outcomes, extend their duration, and activate those that are inactive.
  6. Develop strategic partnerships that serve national objectives and regional needs, enhancing the University’s impact at both the Northern Border Region and national levels.
  7. Develop policies and establish best practices in the University’s international relations.
  8. Prepare an annual report on the Administration’s activities and submit it to the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research for presentation to the University President.
